Since 1885, the polish brickyard Lukova burns bricks in Hoffmann kiln using clay soil deposits. Even until now, 90% of work is done by hand.
In the Lukova brickyard, you can choose from a variety of bricks and tiles. We produce ceramic tiles, cotto tiles, hand-glazed tiles, hand-painted tiles, rustic bricks, hand-molded bricks as well, as glazed and painted stove tiles.
From 6th to 8th of November 2014, our Company participated in the European Conservation, Restoration and Old Building Renovation Fair "DENKMAL" in Leipzig (Germany).
Our stand and presented products ware met with great interest from visitors and potential business partners.
The most popular were: our rustic and gothic bricks, “cotto” floor tiles and hand-painted tiles.
The big surprise for visitors was the fact that we produced tiles for Tuscany.
Brickyard manager – Mr. Leszek Malinowski – told visitors about the history of the brickyard, the technological processes and the principles of operating a Hoffman kiln.
In summary, we are very satisfied with the fair, we have established numerous contacts with potential business partners Europe and look forward to new projects using our products.
